Carrrr attended a Lynwood, CA congregation. I went for Pizza with some brothers and his first wife. He divorced his first wife and corrupted a friend of my wife. She was beautiful. I think he left her and not sure what happened then.

New arrangement for field service?
by Zico ini don't know if this is a worldwide thing because i didn't go the meeting where the arrangement was announced, but it's being done in my congregation anyway.
during those 6 months the member assigned to the pioneer is meant to make time to work with the pioneer as much as possible, so they can strengthen each other.
the idea is meant to be that eventually each member of the congregation will get a go.

Kinda funny but they kept trying this with my wife. When they came over I said NO. They know I am against the BS. It is funny how they ask a question and I gave the textbook answers (because we are so close to the end with a smirk). I think we are done till the Memorial.

many here are still married, one in one out.
i have basically had a sucessful unplanned fade.

You guys story is just surreal! I am speechless except for saying I do see a big common denominator with you and MomzCrazy as far as the kids being a big sucess factor. Good luck to you all,
I wish u the best as well. If you feel it is worth it, work it out. Find a common ground and move on. Unfortunately, so many of us have no life outside of the WT. That is the root of many problems.
As I said, many elders that I personally know do NOT believe many teachings, they love the parties and friendships.

Thanks. I think of the conditional love of the witnesses and it's little value vs. the undying love from mankind. Many children are expected to volunteer to gain admission to a top college. This lays a foundation for the future. When I went to Los Angeles today, many were the same as before. When a problem does not affect you, people have the tendency to be non-chalant.
Being involved, just because and having emphaty is the character of incredible people. All of your kind words were EXTREMELY helpful. I never knew the power this simple gesture could have.

In answer to your questions to me:
I watch on TV this minister named Fred Price down in LA. He is on the W ord Network I think. His adult son came on and said, I learned n ursery r hymes as a child , but my parents read me the bible every night. I said WOW, how powerful . Therefore, I then started to share an account from the bible every night with the entire family, m ainly the children. Last night we stud ies Jesus account of the fig tree in Mark chapter 12 and Faith . They love it. I pick new accounts every night. I have 2 small ones that I discuss the bible stories book with as well. Because I am the teacher, I filter out the WT - BS . Y ou are right, I do not trust the wtbts . I have been a bible student all my life, so truth and falsehood is easy to distinguish now. I usually say, the JW ’ s believe this. I try to be objective . The Bible Story book is pretty harmless. It lays a solid foundation for the future.
My mother said many years ago, NEVER neglect your family for the WT. She wasbaptized for about 40 years, prior to her death. My children can quote scripture s (Hebrews 11:1, Ephesian s 2:8,9 My favorite verse in the bible ) I am teaching them the bible , not a book . My 13YO is different. We discuss topics. I tell him both side to the argument. ( The cross for instance, Stauros, how the Romans tortured their prisoners , ect) Again, I use the bible to solidify the point. If we use a publication (i.e.Live Forever book) I filter the BS. M y wife respects my decision not to attend the hall . Our love is bigger than a publishing company in NYC. We have the common foundation that was mentioned earlier. One of our goals is to have all college educated children.
I have found that even some elders do not believe the garbage, they go through the motions. Many do not want to loose their friends of 30 + years. It is purely social.
Initially there was a problem with my wife, but now she understands that I try to be a great head and I am not mechanical anymore. Much more loving. As Franz said, I was “ In Search of Christian Fr e edom. ” I have never lost my morals, but I found Christ. As a witness, I never remember reading Ephesians 2:8, 9. That one verse is liberating alone . Especially in the KJ version.
The common foundation is the key. We promised when we first married that we would GROW together. Despite her attending the hall, assemblies and the like (Yes, she wants me there) we have a GREAT marriage. Again, the publishing company can not be bigger than your love.

I love my wife a great deal. Even though we were witnesses when we married 15+ years ago, we made a special oath. We would NEVER allow the organization to come into our marriage. Meaning, never tell the elders a thing, we would work out any problems, even adultry. If you stop being a witnesses, the guilt will initially set in at first, then depression.
Remember, the WT does not define who u are. Keep living and enjoy your life. it is hard, but you must go on. I have faded away. My wife is active with the children, but I miss assemblies and even the memorial. I sat down with my wife and explained my problems with the religion, she accepts this.
I have never cheated or immediately became a bad person. I study with her and the children even more now, than before.
Having a relationship with Jesus that I never had in the WT is truly liberating!!!

Thanks for the concern all. Today we moved some things out to storage. Just in case. Also helped some neighbors. They had a mandatory evacuation for the adjacent mountain. A four lane street is the seperator. Kinda weird seeing a giant State Farm rig in the parking lot of the Albertson's grocery store. I am near the Buckweed fire. Fortunately the smoke is not that bad now.
Again, thanks for the concern from all. I have recieved many calls from worldly friends and co-workers. I would say 20-1. Evil worldly person vs. God's chosen witnesses. It is very important to cultiivate relationships with good people and not judge based on religion. I am glad I did. Many offered their homes to me and my family. People I know from ballet or my children's basketball team. Really strangers. So kind and sincere. Not conditional. We went to a neighbor's house this afternoon and helped out with some things for San Diego. Someone will try to take them to the stadium. Others will have items for this area, Santa Clarita. I can truly feel for those in Katrina.
Can you imagine the anguish of watching a fire come toward your home and you have too just wait. It was very depressing watching the news as well.
Kinda funny, they said FEMA was coming today to advise. Everyone said, Ohhh NO!!!! Not FEMA
You can never put a price on the love and concern from others, it is priceless.

Personal Update:
A new fire has started tonight at 11 pm, The Soledad Fire. About to burn down 100 trailer homes in the Canyon Counrty area. All fires will merge within 48 hours if there is no containment. The adjacent mountain has had a mandatory evacuation. Tesero del Valle.

Two elders in my wife's hall called. They offered homes with the "Friends" in the San Fernando Valley and are aware that several witnesses have been evacuated. We are fine for now.
Again, thanks for all of your kind words. Talk about doom and gloom. The local media surpasses anything, well almost anything in the WT.

My city Valencia is in Santa Clarita. There is a fire in Castaic and another massive one that came from an area called Aqua Dulce. It split into two fires. We have now been given a voluntary evacuation. The Five freeway is the main artery. It is open. That would be the way out to Los Angeles.
